What started as youthful curiosity quickly became an obsession – I was captivated by the craftsmanship, the sound, and the stories these machines could tell.

Since that first purchase decades ago, I’ve never stopped learning. Every piece of equipment teaches me something new, whether it’s a restoration technique, an engineering innovation, or simply a deeper appreciation for the golden age of audio design. This continuous learning journey has shaped everything I do at Vintage Audio Professor.

My breakthrough came at Catawiki, where I worked for two years as an Audio Expert and Auctioneer. In this role, I evaluated and sold hundreds of vintage audio devices, from rare Marantz receivers to classic McIntosh amplifiers. This experience gave me a unique insight into market values and trends.

At Catawiki, I developed my skills in data analysis with Google Analytics and learned the intricacies of accurate valuation. I worked with international clients and built a reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable audio specialist.

After years in the commercial vintage audio world, I decided to take a step further. I saw a great need for independent, professional valuations for heirlooms, insurance and personal collections. Many people inherit vintage audio equipment but don’t know what they have on their hands.

As Vintage Audio Professor, I combine my technical knowledge with my international market experience. I help families, collectors and businesses discover the true value of their vintage audio treasures – without the pressure to sell.
